COVID-19 Message

Transit is currently operating 7 A.M. to 7 P.M. Monday through Friday and Saturday from 8:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.


We have been notified that three County employees have tested positive for COVID-19.  Actions outlined in applicable sections of the Ogemaw County COVID-19 Preparedness and Response Plan have been initiated. 

It does appear at least one employee was symptomatic while in the workplace.  Enhanced cleaning/sanitizing has been initiated for affected areas.  All persons entering County facilities are urged to maximize use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including, but not limited to gloves, goggles, face shields and face masks as appropriate for the activity performed.

Anyone who entered the County Building or Correctional Facility the week of October 19 is urged to monitor themselves for COVID-19 symptoms. Symptoms include fever, shortness of breath and/or continuous cough, fever, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell.  You should seek medical attention if you experience these symptoms.
