The Ogemaw County Building will be closed to the public on Friday August 28, 2026 after 12:00 P.M. for training. Emergency Court proceedings will still take place.
On February 12, 2026 the Ogemaw County Board of Commissioners passed resolution 26-15 approved having a Mural Competition
celebrating the semiquincentennial (250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

On July 8, 2021 the Ogemaw County Board of Commissioners passed resolution 21-86 which allows the video recordings of the meetings to be placed online by the Information Technology Department. You can now find a link to the YouTube channel under the Meeting Minutes & Video tab on our homepage.

PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD: MATERIALS MANAGEMENT PLAN
Residents of Michigan’s Heartland region counties, including Ogemaw County, are invited to review the draft Materials Management Plan (MMP) and share their feedback through an online survey. The MMP outlines a framework for managing materials to reduce waste, increase recycling and composting, and improve access to sustainable materials management programs. Residents can submit their suggestions for the MMP and help improve how waste materials are managed in their communities.
